  1. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  2. A: They usually ask me about file management. I got PDF explaining how to do it, wav files, zip files, wetransfer, sample rates, bit rates, etc.

  3. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  4. A: Confusing mixing with stereo mastering or stem mastering.

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: Macbook, Logic, plug ins, PMC speakers, AKG headphones.

  8. A: Warm, clean and tight.

  10. A: I work ITB with PMC Monitors and Hypex Amp in a well treated room.

  16. A: I do about seven songs a week average.

  18. A: I will master your song till you get 100% satisfied.

  19. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I have been working in the music industry for over 15 years now, I started as session guitarist at age 19, working with bands, artists, I actually worked with Bob Moog in 2003, then I started to work in studios as engineer, making beats, music for picture, teaching and after 10 years I have decided to focus my career as online mastering engineer.

  22. A: Electronic, Urban, Pop, Gospel, RnB and Indie..

  23. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  24. A: Stereo Mastering.

  26. A: Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Richard Bona, Jaco Pastorious, Paco de Lucia, Quincy Jones, Trevor Horn, Sting, Bob Marley... etc.

  27. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  28. A: For me they are all important, different styles, different countries, I love them all!

  30. A: Digital, workflow is key for me.

  32. A: Working with different artists from all over the world.

  34. A: Music references and sonic preferences.

  36. A: Communication is key, good understanding sounds better than any piece of gear.

  37. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  38. A: Jamiroquai, cause I love those funky vibes, those acid chord progressions, I play bass and guitar and I love playing those lines, really interesting music that brings the best of the old jazz/fusion world to the mass media.

  40. A: Listen to music 28 hours a day.

  41. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  42. A: Punch, clarity, depth, width, caracter, personality and emotion.

  43. Q: What's your typical work process?

  44. A: Listen to the song before I touch any knob, listen to similar music, listen, listen and more listening.
