Fat Track Pat on SoundBetter

Music producer from Toronto, Canada with a good ear and strong passion for music. I will dedicate myself into helping you turn your ideas into BANGERS. I specialize in designing and creating unique analogue/digital sounds that will make your track stick out from the rest. Instrumentation is really important to me when it comes to my productions.

My range of production is versitle but my genres of expertise include:
- EDM/Pop
- House (Progressive, Trance, Techno, Deep)

I am most efficient when I am creating the track around your lyrics/ideas (even if its recorded off your phone), or even enhancing/developing your song's production. If I am given a clear understanding on what you want for the track, I can help get it there. Can't wait to start on your song and help you make the BANGER you always wanted!

Accomplishments:
- produced multiple songs that have accumulated thousands of streams (400,000+) across Spotify, Soundcloud, and Youtube
- Supported by professional DJ/Producers Eminence (Monstercat), and Nostalgix (Night Bass, Confession)

Interview with Fat Track Pat

  1. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  2. A: I was an electrical engineer for the past two years and worked on music production for the past 5 years. Now, I solely focus my time and energy on my productions and soon-to-be YOUR productions. ;)

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: I won't be satisfied until YOU are satisfied.

  5. Q: How would you describe your style?

  6. A: Dance-y, Groovy but most of all...FAT!

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Less is more.

  9. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  10. A: I work with mostly singers on SoundBetter but i would recommend Ellae, Seb Mont, or Ashley. They are all super talented and have great experience working in a diverse range of styles.

  11. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  12. A: Both. Analogue for the imperfection in the sound that will make the track stick out from the rest. Meanwhile, Digital for creating very clean and "perfect" sounds.

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  14. A: I usually work best on EDM oriented songs.

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: I work with vocals, vocal chops, vocal atmospheres, choirs, etc. Another strong skill is my instrumentation. I strive to have the instruments in the track to be unique and interesting.

  17. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  18. A: I mostly work in my DAW but I use analogue synthesizers and my Rode microphone to create and record unique/original sounds.

  19. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  20. A: Deadmau5, Above & Beyond, Feed Me, Bloody Beetroots, and Tame Impala.
