Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I just finished an awesome track with an up and coming vocalist called Heart of Gold. I wrote the melody, and produced the entire track. When I gave it to the vocalist I never thought it would turn out as beautiful as it did. Very happy it will be released soon.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I am working on allot actually. Everyday I am in the studio with clients and everyday I am making music for them. I am primarily making allot of EDM, and POP style songs.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Yes, I have worked with a phenomenal vocalist on here (Alina Renae). She is like me when it comes to making sure the client is happy with the project they give her.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both. Analog has some very great organic sounds but today you can get those same sounds with less processing.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: That I will make sure they are happy with the final product and they get exactly what they want. There is nothing more rewarding than making someone happy with something you love to do.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I like putting a smile on peoples face at the end result. Music is about having a good experience and I want to make sure I can do that and make someone happy when they hire me to do a project for them.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: What style of music do you make? I can make just about anything.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That's its is easy to do this. It takes time and allot of thought. I want my clients to be happy and give them something they want and sometimes it doesn't happen overnight.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What style of music are you looking to do and what mood are you going for. This is very helpful!

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Have a plan. Be sure on exactly what you are looking to do and what you would like to get accomplished.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Piano, Guitar, Laptop and thats all I would need to be happy with

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I have been playing the piano since I was 8yrs old, Starting to DJ at age 15, and produce at age 20 so I have been doing this for a long time and knew this is what I wanted to do since I was young.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Its really hard to say. I have made music in the style of Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, Ed Sheeran and its all a little different.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Chris Martin from Coldplay. His songwriting is outstanding and his uniqueness is something ive always liked.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Don't try to do too much at first. Start with a melody, and then structure the melody out. Once you have that done then you can work on all of the other elements.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I have been working on allot of EDM/POP music and this is where I feel very comfortable.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Song Writing, and Production.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I feel I bring allot. I start with the very bare minimum by composing something and bringing it to life by incorporating many different instruments, and sounds. Everything starts from the piano for me.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Most of my work is done organically. I sit down in front of a piano and write a song and once everything is completed as far as melody, and structure, I then get everything into my DAW.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I have worked with just about every DAW as well as a vast majority of plugins for years. I have a studio I work out of as well as working out of studios when I am hired to do sessions for clients. I have been in the music industry making songs and film scores for a little over a decade.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: This is a wide range who inspire me in different ways and in different decades and genres. I would have to say Elton John, The Beatles, Hans Zimmer, John Mayer, Coldplay, The Weeknd, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond and the list goes on :)

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I have done everything from Film Scores to full song productions for Pop, R&B, and EDM. I have started songs from scratch and have given my clients melody's to work from but I also have taken an idea they have and put it into a beautiful song. I am very open to all ideas to make sure my clients are happy with the end result.
