Born in Montpellier, France, pianist Benjamin Thiébault toured worldwide and played on the stage of renowned jazz clubs (Duc des Lombards in Paris, Bimhuis in Amsterdam, Hot Clube de Portugal in Lisbon) as well as for many recordings. He now devotes his time to his various projects, including the trio for which he writes the music.
Benjamin Thiébault studied classical piano, pop, and jazz music in the conservatories of Montpellier and Paris, before attending the jazz and improvised music department of the Conservatories of Paris and Amsterdam. He obtained his Master of Music in June 2018. During his studies, Benjamin benefited from numerous masterclasses (Aaron Parks, Ethan Iverson, Craig Taborn). He played with renowned artists such as Franck Nicolas, Guadeloupean trumpeter and Deva Mahal, American singer of neo-soul music.

A: I am working on my music, and focusing on making it sound good.

A: A tiny piano, a percussion, some paper with a pen, a flute, and a smartphone.
