Song Writer, Lyrical Sensei

Sterling Light (27th Century) on SoundBetter

I wanna help you out with your lyrics, because if your lyrics are whack it doesn't matter how talented of a singer or rapper you are. I can show you the most common mistakes a lyricist makes, teach you how to break bad habits when writing, and offer my personal creative input. I have experience writing and recording original songs for over 10 years

I'm a hater, a critic, but a fan and lover of Hip-hop. I've been fully immersed in music since birth. I play the piano, baritone horn, bass guitar, and a little guitar. Above all I am a lyricist with more than a decade experience writing and nearly a decade recording.  I've been involved with the creation of a hundred something songs. The service I offer is for those of you who don't have someone who will tell them to change a line. I don't have any reason to take it easy on anyone if I think your rhymes are overplayed and the flow is choppy. I want to make you a better lyricist and help you avoid the cringes of the listeners. I know from personal experience, thinking that I had written an amazing song completely bulletproof only to later be listening to the recording months or even years later and thinking, "why the hell did no one tell me that my lyrics suck?". Some of my best lyrics have been wasted by being in the same song as some of my worst ones. I don't want anyone else to have to go through the pain of hearing your lyrics and not being one hundred percent satisfied with every word. Nobody is perfect but you can be better than ever with my advice and guidance.

  2. A: A demo compilation of instrumentals, hip-hop, and alt rock fusion.

  3. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  4. A: Both have their pros. I enjoy analog stuff for that vintage sound you cant get anywhere else. Digital is superior in quality of course.

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: An acoustic bass, acoustic guitar, strings for both, rope, and a lighter

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: Being able to hyperfocus on a project and put my all into the creative process. I just can't stop working on a track untill I am completely out of energy or done creating it.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: I bring uniquely crafted lyrics and vocal melody with creativity and style. Sometimes I play bass and synths or piano though.

  19. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  20. A: Slug and Ant of Atmosphere, DJ Abilities, Serj Tankian, The Alchemist, Brian "Head" Welch, Shavo Odajin, RIP Mac Miller, Eminem.

  21. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  22. A: The type of work I have done most is on lyrical composition, whether it's working hands on with a client to help them create something personal, writing my own material, or just ghostwriting. My passion for music comes through the words. I also have done a lot of audio editing and recording.
