I am a lyricist, top line, and vocal part writer currently working with Nashville-based recording artist Melissa Carter. I am most appreciated for my poignant and stylistic lyric writing, hooky melodies, and ear candy vocal sub-hooks. Oh, yeah. I also writer killa rap parts.

I'm more inclined to write about different shades of the human experience that are nonetheless universal. I have a range of experience including writing solo songs from scratch, collaborating with up-and-coming-artists, and trouble-shooting songs in the studio. When I'm working on a song, my creative process demands that I write extensively. I edit my work until it is clear that there is absolutely no room for improvement.
I live full-time in Atlanta but am no stranger to Los Angeles and Nashville.
The particular song featured on this profile "Let Me Make It Up To You," could be categorized as a "make up song." It deals with those hangover mornings when we wake up and have a feeling that something is "off." Panicked, we Rolodex through the foggy memories of the previous night seeking clues about our bad behavior. The tension is heavy. To lift it, and to restore the confidence of our now-lost trust we will do anything.

I loved working with Mary. When producing, mixing, and mastering one of her projects; she made it very easy for me to see the direction and where she wanted to go by providing a document of track notes and being very quick to respond to emails whenever I did have a question.
