  30. A: Many artists don´t know how they really want to sound, until you show them how, that´s why they are hiring you (music producer). Our maybe they are looking for a specific way of sounding, so be confident, creative, self-driven for the sake of finding for them the right solution. Show them what they´re looking for, and trust yourself on walking that path with them.

  32. A: R&B, Latin Pop, Hip Hop, Reggaeton

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My strongest skill will be listening, not only for harsh frequencies, overtones, and masking, but as well as for having great and inspirational conversations. I´ve learned to listen, listen to the story, listen to each word the artist has to tell as well as listening to the absence of words.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Truth, connection, vibe and genius.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: The very first step is knowing the client or artist I´m going to work with. Wether I´m into the role of producing or mixing, the second step I take and very important as well, is to listen to the story the artist wants to talk about. Then I decide wether or not I´m the right producer for the sake of their idea. If everything flows to our favor, then we began with the common type of work I mentioned in the first paragraph of this interview.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: Mind, soul and heart, are the first things I power up every single day, those are my most valuable assets in my setup. The rest of them are just part of the toys and tools I have on my studio at your disposal. I leave you a short list down here: - Imac 27´ 2012 - Apogee Symphony MK1 16x16 - ATC SCM 25 - BAE 1073 - Warm Audio WA2A - SPL Mixdream (Summing Mixer) - Others (Mics, hardware, musical instruments)

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: There are many musicians that have inspired me. The Beatles are one of them, as well as George Martin. A long list to tell about.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: The most common type of work I do for my clients is to create the proper environment and vibe so both, me and them, can genuinely establish a connection with music, and with the fortune of being able to play with it. I´m the co-creating mind with god´s mind, the rest of things such as composing, arranging, recording and mixing, are just part of the process.
