It was really such a privilege getting to work with Matthew on my song! From the very beginning he was able to take bits and pieces of ideas and turn them into a beautiful song that I'm proud of- he takes the time to create exactly what you envision. I’ve had the chance to work with Matt on many instances over the last 2.5 years in various contexts, all with excellent results. As far as people that I know, and I know quite a few engineers in the great city of Toronto - Matthew, occasionally known as Matt, is carving out his own sound while staying true to the mix. Some characteristics would be a high sense of musical aesthetics, dependable, and top level trained in his craft. He's worked with tons of epic Canadian acts, but still respects the indie artist who needs help bringing their dream alive. Regardless of how busy or simple your track is, I would recommend him for the job.
