Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes Giancarlo Roberti he has mixed and mastered some of my songs and they are of great quality.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to listen to what you want as a client.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love creating something and when the person reads those lines or they have their finished project they are taken to the exact moment they wanted to be taken to or the feeling they wanted to feel. They are taken into an atmoshpere or a vibe. I often get chills when i write something, thats how i know its good.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: songwriters are only successful if they write a hit song.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What ideas do they already have? When the project needs to be done by? Any key areas like a feeling or a memory they want to create ?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I would contact the provider and ask all the questions up front before you commit to the project that you would like to know. Be specific if there are certain things you really want in your song.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: i started out writing poetry, then songwriting and then singing. I then started creating my own songs and its all come from there.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is quite original im good at coming up with ideas and concepts.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: i would love to work with The Weeknd, i love the whole atmosphere he creates on his songs and a vibe he creates is just magical.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: yes, always be yourself and be original!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on a song just from an idea. and write the lyrics from there.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is lyric writing/songwriting.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring lots of ideas, originality and collaboration working as a team to get exactly what the client wants in the final result.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Typically i will ask the client what ideas they have or listen to the demo, or read the work they have already done and accumulate as much from the client as possible to what they want for the finished project. This could be a season, a date they wont incorporated. A feeling they felt in a moment or just the general idea, i will then write from there. I will always listen to what the client wants and do my best to create that.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: my studio set up is the Scarlett 2i2 interface with the Scarlett mic. i can write from anyhere in the world with a pen and paper or on a tablet or laptop.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I have lots of inspirations from all different genres. The Weeknd, The cranberries, Celine Dion, Alicia Keys, Iann Dior, The kid LAROI, Dolly Parton, Eurythmics, Christina Aguilera, Elton john, Sam Smith, Rhianna, Becky Hill to name a few but there are many more. i am inspired from anything to dark piano pieces to pop, country, ballads, i have very eclectic inspiration.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work i do is writing lyrics.
