Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I frequently work with musician and songwriter Luke Berry. One of my most proud works I did with him was his song Guess What. The vibe we managed to capture with this track, and the way the instruments and the voice seem to "dance" together is amazing.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both worlds have a lot to offer.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The ability to turn people's ideas into reality. The smile on their face when you really capture the vibe they're going after is amazing.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been learning music production and multiple instruments since I was in my teens, so I've been doing it for about 10 years now.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Indie Pop, Pop, R&B, Rap, Hip Hop, Rock, Pop-Rock, Folk, Songwriter. I'm comfortable to work on a majority of genres since I'm a very eclectic person by nature.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being able to capture the vibe the artist is trying to pass really fast. Plus laying down ideas fast.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I believe the role of a music producer is to make an artist's idea come to life and work with him/her to make it even better. That's what I always bring to a song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It depends. Every artist is different, but a must on every process is to first sit down and understand very clearly what the artist wants, gather references, etc. Then we can start to lay out ideas for the project.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use Logic Pro X as my main DAW.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Usually music production and beat-making, both in person and through the internet. Occasionally I mix and master too.
