Interview with K Tempo
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You'll be more than satisfied!!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love that I get to help others bring their art to life!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Q: How did you make my track sound so good?! A: I tossed it in my "secret sauce"!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception towards my work is that the quality won't be as great since my rates are low...However, I just understand the life and desire of independent artists, being one myself! I choose to cater to that in an effort to help others out, and if an artist is willing to give my service a chance, they'll come to find they've discovered a gold mine.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Most individuals can achieve an okay mix to represent their art when wanting to be hands-on...however, let a professional help you with the mastering. It's a game changer!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skillset is mastering. It's an art in itself and takes a fine-tuned trained ear. I learned from one of the best mastering engineers in Atlanta when I attended college for audio post production, but I spent several years after that expanding upon that knowledge and perfecting my craft.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work I do for clients is mastering. I'm also a musician and independent artist myself, so I understand lower budgets and the desire to bring your art to life! That's why I choose to offer my expertise at an extremely generous and affordable cost.
