I am a professional studio musician/film & tv music producer specializing in bass, guitars, keys, drum programming as well as mixing and mastering. I have worked on many critically-acclaimed records & look forward to playing on yours! My work has been featured on the Today Show, ESPN, BBC, CMC as well as radio stations around the globe.

I produce tracks in my studio for film/tv use as well as many custom tracks for independent artists all over the world. My tracks have gotten millions of streams on all platforms.

I am currently the bassist/bandleader for Grammy-winning country artist, Kendell Marvel. We tour regularly with Chris Stapleton, Brothers Osborne, Jamey Johnson and play venues from clubs to stadiums around the world.

From 2012-2018, I was the bassist/bandleader for Drake White & The Big Fire. We have toured the world headlining venues in 20+ countries. I was the bassist on Drake's debut album, Spark (Dot Records), as well as the It Feels Good EP and Drake White & The Big Fire (Live).

Living in Nashville & working with the best studio musicians, artists, engineers, producers & songwriters in the world, I know what it takes to make a record pop from the groove perspective.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I’m proud of the Drake White “Spark” record. (Dot/2016) I played bass on half of the record and, as a member of the band, it was cool to see the positive reaction from fans all over the world.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m currently working on several singer-songwriter tracks, a bluegrass record & some pop country tracks.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog sounds cool but is cumbersome and inefficient in today’s world most of the time. Digital is the way to go. With all the wonderful plug-ins available now, I can achieve that analog sound digitally.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I’ll promise to do everything I can to help execute your vision and bring your songs to life.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being able to take a raw song/idea and help bring it to life.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Turnaround time: usually 1 week What can you do for the project? Add energy & integrity.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception about what I do is that it should be done for free.

A: What is your vision for my involvement? What time frame are you working with? Deadlines? Reference tracks?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Hiring a professional can really take your ideas to the next level. The cost is minimal when you realize the value you’re receiving is 10-fold.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: I have always wanted to pursue music as a career. I have been playing professionally for 20+ years.

A: My style is funky & groove-oriented.

A: I would like to work with Ed Sheeran because I think he has a fresh approach to cool music.

A: Listen. You can’t track/mix with your eyes. If something sounds “off” or “wrong” to you, it probably is and should be fixed.

A: Living in Nashville, I usually work on country songs but I can work other genres comfortably.

A: My strongest skill is playing stringed instruments (guitar, bass, etc), keyboards & building tracks.
