I'm a singer, songwriter and topliner from Germany and I would love to write a song and/or record some vocals for you.
I've studied Music (major subjects: singing and piano) and English to become a teacher but then decided to work as a singer and songwriter. I'm also a state certified choir conductor, so it's no problem for me to record some stunning harmonies. Interview with HILLA
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'll work with Cubase 9.5, a Neumann TLM 103 microphone, and an RME Babyface Pro FS interface.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I've been working a lot for my own artist project HILLA lately and released 6 singles in 2021.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: When I'm not working for Soundbetter clients, I'm working either on my own artist project HILLA, or sing on weddings and other events, or conduct my choir.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll work on it til we're both completely happy with the result.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That I can put my soul into every song I write and sing and get very positive feedback from grateful clients afterwards.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Do you have a reference track? I want the song to be just as you expect it, and a reference track is always helpful to show me your vision.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Try to describe as specific as possible what you're looking for in the lyrics and in the style of singing.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've studied to become a teacher for Music and English, but after my final theoretical exams, I started to sing and write songs for a living. I've been doing this since 2016.

A: A clear, emotional voice singing catchy melodies with touching, picturesque lyrics

A: Max Martin - just the most awesome songwriter.

A: I can easily adapt to the vision my client has and still manage to put my soul into it and make it unique.

A: My soulful voice, a lot of emotions, and outstanding songwriting skills
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I write a first draft of the chorus, record it with my smartphone and show it to the client to be sure, it's going in the right direction. When the lyrics are ready, I'll record the whole song with my smartphone and send it again. As soon as the client is happy with lyrics and melody, I'll record the song with my Neumann TLM103 including harmonies, backings, choirs, adlibs and so on. I edit everything and send the stems to the client. If everything is fine, the job is done. If not, I'll try my best to fix the issue.
