Interview with Vag Sinz
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: It's a year(!) my debut CD Single has been released. Really excited that I'm working on my 2nd Single for a good 5-months now that is gonna be published with an animated video clip.. Can't wait: 'Warning!'.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Real and fresh. Vibe is always another important aspect that I like to focus.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Incubus's vocalist- Mr. Brandon Boyd. My personal most favorite singer, artist
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: "Mix by the ear not by the eye."
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Singing. I'll keep on learning it though!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Soul and my perspective. Can't imagine a vocal perfomance without giving the true meaning of each artist's to this song- like not believing and expanding it more than just vocalizing words; when needed or asked.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Many. Espeacially my teachers at my university and great 90s/millenium artists, that combine their art with a great personality.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Lead vocals is the most common one. It's been a while since I've started teaching vocals also, a great expierence for both sides as I learn things around vocals in a such unexceptedable, new way.
