I'm a professional Lyricist (All Genres) & rap ghostwriter. I'm classically trained & can write you a really CATCHY hook. I cut my teeth ghostwriting for top dogs in the music industry. Only quality lyrics can get you noticed in today's overrun. They alone decide your calibre & class among all & sundry.

I can help you with:

Song's Motif Conceptualization
Adding top-notch lyrics to your melody
Toplining a catchy hook (melody + lyrics)
Adding dimensions to your solid ideas or giving direction to your rough ones.

I also ghostwrite rap verses (16 Bar).
Qualities of my rap verses are :

Multi-syllabic rhyme scheme
Internal rhyming
Extensive use of assonance and consonance
Use of alliteration
Melodic flow
Non-Pleonastic
Depth of thinking and knowledge
And above all a Logical Progression of Thought.

Some of the verses I wrote for mid-level rappers were acquired by mainstream ones for six-figures and interpolated into their own songs. Even though the original song landed nowhere.
Good writing never goes unnoticed.

I would like to do all of this like I have always done, that is, without credit, ownership stake or royalties of any kind.
In other words, strictly, on work-for-hire basis.
You'll own what you'll purchase from me 100% and owe me nothing in terms of any attribution or profit, thereon.

First I was a little hesitant as I did not see as many reviews as for other pros (I know he is new here but I was seeing it from my perspective and available options).
But when I read what he wrote...... Oh! my.
All this time I thought I could write.
Communication was super prompt unlike many others here who seem overburdened with work.
I'll be back VERY SOON, Mr.

Interview with Wordsmith

  1. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  2. A: When you tame an unruly sound, music emerges. So I am not limited by a type. I tame sound and add meaning to it with words.

  3. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  4. A: I'm an award winning poet (NatGeo Young Visionary Award, Scholastic National Award, etc.) and lyricist. I have a natural knack for crafting lyrics to the most complex melodies. This is further augmented by my decades of experience working in the music industry. In all humbleness, lyricism is my mastery, no matter what genre.

  5. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  6. A: Giving direction to emerging talent by enabling their budding ideas to blossom.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: Lyricism (All genres) and writing CATCHY hooks (it's not everyone's forte).

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: I BRING IT ALIVE.

  11. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  12. A: This question always saddens me. I spent my prime only ghostwriting because it paid well. Now I am a no name achiever as all my industry work is under NDA. This particular Grammy winning song I wrote the lyrics to, is the one I am most proud of.

  13. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  14. A: I am working on a country song, a romantic pop ballad and a rap verse.

  15. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  16. A: I promise to make you come back to me.

  17. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  18. A: I am new to this platform so I'll answer that in time.

  19. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  20. A: When you mention the word 'Rap' they, sometimes, pigeonhole you to a category. Rap is nothing but a cruder and ruder form of poetry, if done by a bright mind (maybe, that's the catch).

  21. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  22. A: Tell me all you have in mind and all you expect of me.

  23. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  24. A: TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH.... And you'll come back knocking at my door in no time.

  25. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  26. A: Decades....

  27. Q: How would you describe your style?

  28. A: I am Water, my friend (Thanks, Bruce Lee)

  29. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  30. A: I wanna help you discover the artist in you.

  31. Q: What's your typical work process?

  32. A: I just let my imagination flow and go into a deep state.
