Sopralenuvole ("Abovetheclouds") is both a real and imaginary place where music takes shape and comes to life. We work on your ideas and projects with passion and professionalism, using the best tools available. Christian artists are welcome!
We provide high quality backing tracks for singers and artist (again, Christian artists are welcome).
Here's how it works: you send in your best demo (vocals and guitar, or piano) together with a music sheet.
We create a personalized arrangement of your song. Once the payment is cleared we provide you the rough mix of the song, upon which you can put your vocals. Send us the vocal tracks and we mix the whole thing. Our services include editing and mixing on world class equipment!

Interview with Sopralenuvole Music Studio
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be kind and don't change your mind too often, but if you're kind you're allowed to...
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A guitar, a keyboard, a Mac with Logic Pro X, an Apogee interface, headphones.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: New retro. 80's influenced.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Hanz Zimmer. He has the overall vision of a project.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Find the correct tempo and song key at the very beginning, or you're in trouble later.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop-rock.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Inventiveness and patience.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A blend of old and new. We strongly believe in the lesson of those who made music history before us.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We usually receive a rough demo from the artist: vocals and guitar or vocals and piano. We discuss the arrangement with the client and once we agree upon the overall sound and payment is cleared we begin working on it. Once the arrangement is approved, the artist can sing his parts at his/her facility and send it back to us. We then mix the tracks and wait for the artist approval.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: As for the production / artistic aspect, we usually rely on a mixture of real and sampled instruments. For recording we have Neumann microphones and tube preamplification from Anthony De Maria. Our DAW of choice is Logic Pro X and the equipment is as follows: iMac Pro, SSL Nucleus, SSL Sigma, SSL Fusion, SSL G Bus compressor, Apogee Symphony I/O - the best mixing hardware money can buy in a hybrid setup, with plugins from SSL, Apogee, iZotope, etc. Monitoring is provided by a pair of Amphion One18.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Being musicians and songwriters ourselves we admire many artists that embody the same role: Sting, Eric Clapton, Coldplay and more. In regard of the technical aspect, classic mixing engineers like Bob Clearmountain and Chris Lord Alge are the first names that come to mind.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: We create music arrangements from rough demos and provide full mixing services.
