I’m a Nashville-based audio engineer, producer, and musician, as well as an independent artist and songwriter. I record people live here in my Nashville studio, but I also mix and master projects for people who have already done their tracking. I love doing full productions, taking someone's idea and making it awesome.

I attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN where I graduated with a degree in music in 1996. Since then, I have recorded, mixed, and mastered several singles, EP's, and full albums for artists of various styles. My favorite styles to mix are folk/Americana, country, Bluegrass, rock, and blues.

I always include manual vocal tuning with my quotes. That means I don't "autotune" it... I go through every phrase and carefully make small adjustments so that your vocals are all on pitch and sound natural. I also include drum triggering with any drum tracks, which will help beef up any weaknesses in drum and/or microphone quality. I do have several Nashville studio musicians on call if needed. I communicate regularly and clearly, and I will make sure you are completely happy with your track.

I challenged Ben with a second song that was quite a bit more involved, and he did a fantastic job of cleaning up my 'mess,' and making the song sound great. With just a few rounds, we got to a wonderful place with the mix. Can't recommend Ben highly enough.
