I specialize in the creation process of producing music. Making music that connects with the soul. I can make music sound like art. Harlem in this bih.
Hi, I'm Sophie, and I'm a 21-year-old female producer, engineer, and singer-songwriter from New York City with over seven years of professional experience, currently based in LA. Primarily, I work with R&B, Hip Hop, Afrobeat, and Soul musicians. In terms of education, I have a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering (CCNY) and a Master's in Arts Management (Parsons).
My main skill set includes production, mixing, engineering, songwriting, and vocal production. Primarily, I work out of Logic Pro (I have Pro Tools and Live as well). The services I'm offering are beat production, song production (full-on arrangements), vocal production (performance and harmonization), tracking (LA only), songwriting, and mixing. I offer remote and in-person services for those who live in the LA area; my studio is located in Universal City.
For the production part of my services, I use Logic Pro X (got a lot of dope plugins like Arturia synths, Omnisphere, Native Instruments, XLN etc.), my AKAI MPK sampler for drums & 808s, my voice (for harmonies or samples) and my electric guitar (with the Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp).
Even though collaboration with other musicians is an essential part of my work and professional identity, I am also an artist (my artist name is Sophie Fay). I believe that music is one of the most powerful tools for self-expression, so hire me if you're ready to create.

I hired Sophie to come up with a cool, edgy topline for my beat, and she NAILED it!
Not only she came up with a great melody, her voice also sounded perfect for the music, and she also wrote some dangerously good lyrics. I definitely recommend anyone to work with her!

working with Sophie Fay as a sound producer has allowed me to fully open up creatively as a singer and songwriter. Her professionalism and ability to listen to what the artist needs is what made this collaboration possible. In terms of deadlines, the work was completed in time and she submitted all the final files to my email. Very talented producer and artist, kinda curious about what we can come up with next.
She’s one of my favorite producers and songwriters! Always fun to work with Sophie! There’s never a miss with her, and would highly recommend for any artist!
As real as they come. Absolutely no joke.
She’s got it!
Overall Production and experience was incredible. Thanks Sophie!
I've worked on over 15 songs with Sophie Fay, where she was songwriter, producer, and singer, and I can definitely recommend her services to anyone looking for quality and unusual production, vocals, lyrics, and more. Let's go!
