Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I have been working as an A&R for a label and we are very proud for releasing some good music that generated some strong numbers.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am remaking from scratch a popular song that a client requested.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital because I am a computer boy.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask clients to show me some samples of what they have in mind.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: The market knows who I am. If you like my music you can hire me & I will try to satisfy you.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: PC, 2 monitors, soundcard and a Sheet Music book. But then I won't have electricity to power it will I? What a question..
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I am doing it for 20 years. I started making music with the tracks in1999 and upgraded to FL studio in 2004.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't have multiple sounds playing simultaneously, spread your sounds across your mix. Less is more.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Creating melodies & atmosphere/ambience.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Strong ambience and my 20 years of expertise in making EDM.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I don't know anyone, sorry.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I can't promise anything. If they don't like the result I can try again till we get the desired results.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The creation process.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: They ask me If I can do that... And most times I answer "Yes" because I can.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: When the client uses phrazes like "I want a good song". "Good" and other similar terms are subjective. I would like to see some samples of what the client considers as "Good".
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Vini Vici, cause they are the best psytrance scheme ever laid foot on planet earth.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: EDM, Trance, Techno, Psytrance, Psybreaks,
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have 2 totally different studios where I create & test my outputs. I do not own fancy equipment, I mostly use the popular Scarlett Focuswrite with some yamaha monitors on one setup and on the other I use Samson Resolv with a Lexicon soundcard. On all cases I work with FL studio.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Boris Brejcha, Vini Vici, 2 Unlimited, The Prodigy and many more.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Melodic with deep ambiance.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly Ghost produce Techno & EDM.
