I'm Justin Bennington, the founder of Somewhere Systems. My ethos has always been to deliver consistent quality across all the responsibilities I’ve been tasked with taking on.
Over the past 7 years, I’ve assumed various creative and technical responsibilities in the music and audio engineering industries. I began my journey as a dubstep DJ, releasing material with Columbia Records and a variety of smaller independent labels. In 2016, I was accepted for admission to Belmont University’s pioneering Audio Engineering Graduate Program. During my studies, I spent two semesters interning as an audio engineer under the supervision of Clarke Schleicher at Warner Bros. Studios Nashville. While there, I worked closely with super-producer Scott Hendricks. I recorded vocals/solo instrument overdubs for Dan + Shay’s self-titled album, earning an album credit as an assistant, and the title of assistant engineer on their smash-hit “Tequila” which recently earned a GRAMMY for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
