How would you describe your style?
Simple in the big picture yet very complex in details. I have a drumline and jazz background so my rhythmic understanding is very good but I also have a sort of pop sensibility with my writing so things don't get too un-relatable musically. My lyrical and melodical style has been called a combination of Micheal Jackson, Sia, Rihanna, and Kanye West.
Which artist would you like to work with and why?
Sia. Everything she writes has deep personal meaning and her style is simple yet complex.
Can you share one music production tip?
Start with a solid melodic idea before anything else. If the core of the song is good then everything else will fall into place. What sounds you use, how it's performed, and how well it's mixed can only do so much, but a solid melody will make the song.
What type of music do you usually work on?
Pop, Soul, RnB, Jazz, Hip Hop, Hawaiian
What's your strongest skill?
Songwriting and Singing
