My name is mark scott. I am from new jersey. I have seven years experience making music. I want to mix and master artists songs continuously. I am going to provide good service and trusts. I love what I do for a living and I am strongly passionate.

In 2013, I start it my music production career. I never went to any audio engineering or music school to learn how to make beats as well as mixing and mastering, but I learn as much as I can from watching youtube videos and couple studio engineers as well. I was also trying to chase placement from some of the hip hop artists off and on. I decide to start a online beat store call markmakebeats.com in 2018. Then start it a mix and master service to help artists balance and polish there songs.

  1. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  2. A: My career path was up and down just like any other musician and audio engineer. We all went through growing pain and we be stressful as well, but we do learn about the music business. I have been doing this off and on since 2013

  3. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  4. A: Timberland, the neptunes, dr dre, mike will made it, metro boomin', and many other popular music producers. My favorite rappers are kendrick lamar, j.cole, tupac, nas and drake.

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: I continue to make beats. I continue to mix and master songs. I also putting my business information out there so I can gain new customers using social media and some advertisement.

  8. A: I like digital vst plugin because I always like digital products that are currently up to date or remodel from the original analog that are legendary and still being use in professional studios until this day.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I promise to be patient and help them in a professional way. I will answer any question that they ask me.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I love making beats in the morning. I also put out new beats every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at my website. I mix and master beats and songs.

  14. A: I check my e-mails listen to new music by familiar artists or new artists. I am receive mixing and mastering tips from waves.

  15. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  16. A: Can you master this song for me. When I check it, the song wasn't mix.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I ask them what type of gene of the song and I ask them if there listen to there song to make sure if they like how they vocal sound of there recording?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: The customers must have very clear vocal on there recording by listen to the song that they rap or sing on before they hired me to mix the song.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My laptop, mini keyboard, usb

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: I really don't have a style at the moment, but I still make hip hip beats. As longest I don't get bored, I make like two beats to keep me busy. One of them might turn out to be amazing.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: That's a tough question It changes everyday on who I want to work with. Yesterday it was j.cole, today it wish it can work with kendrick lamar, tomorrow it might be some one else.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Study other music producers past and present work. Find out what's the hottest sound in hip hop. Learn as much as I can.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: As of right now. I am making hip hop and trap beats. I am also talking to couple customers a week.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Everyday I make a beats that can be dope and connect with some customers.

  34. A: I have a home studio with a laptop and rokit 5 studio speaker by krk, computer mouse and midi keyboard.

  36. A: I make custom beats. I mix and master songs.
