Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Several original songs. I won an award for the top 40 songwriters in 2019 and would like to win again in 2023. I am also working creating music for several clients that have lyrics and needs original music that fits the intent of the song. Also writing for film and video.

A: That this is easy and everyone can write songs and produce quality music
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen to the demo songs they provide and see if they have the style you are looking for. read their bio to see if their musical interests meets the needs of your project. Everyone wants to be hired but I wouldn't be a good choice for types of music that I don't like or listen to
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Starting songwriting and using computers with midi in 1985 which was the beginning of computer music. Been doing music professionally for over 10 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Contemplative and engaging music
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I get hired for all type of work but a lot of my clients like EDM, Folk and Country and rock ballads, slow rock, indi-pop and instrumentals. I am working on expanding into Drill, Trap and Rap but not there yet.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Developing hooks and melody for existing lyrics or for instrumentals
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If there is no lyrics to begin I start with cords, build song structure and tempo and them right melody to the chords. When I have lyrics I start with the melody and then create tempo and chords and structure. When I don't have a project I just play random chords and melody to see what happens. I am always recording to make sure I don't miss that magic when it happens. I am spending a lot of time exploring AI as a development tool that expands my creative process
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Running several MacBook Pros and a Mac Studio Ultra as my computer all running logic pro. Use Native Instruments and keyboards, Roli Sounds and keyboards with EastWest Sounds and Komplete Kontrol as my main libraries. Have several guitars, harmonicas and mandolin. Use Scarlett 2i2 as my audio device with IK Multimedia MTM iLoud monitors
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love EDM, country, rock and pop/rock ballets, new age-chill and old school RAP/HipHop

A: Let it come naturally --fine the zone of "flow".
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Two years ago I created a song for my best friend, who died just after he had a second baby. His wife was over at my house and said I miss him more, not less, since he's been gone. I thought that was a perfect song and began writing words and a melody and then a production and had it completed here with a singer and mixer. A: Digital --easier more mobile. Somethings like harmonica, mandolin are analog because I can't replicate it weill digitally

A: Creativity and the results a song has on the customer when they hear their song come alive

A: Do they have a vision of what they want the song to be? What style? What is the purpose? Is there a singer? Is there a time limit for the song? When is the project due? What is important to you? How much do you want to be involved in the process?

A: Keyboard, Computer with Logic Pro, Acoustic Guitar and Harmonica, any mic. (solar battery to charge it all)

A: Ryan Tedder. Great songwriter and performer John Lennon because he is John Lennon Neil Young a great song writer Adel - would love for her to sing one of my songs
