  6. A: Personal and musical background, influences, goals, vision, brand, message, skills.

  7. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  8. A: Talk to whoever you're looking at hiring before. Get a feel for their personality, how they treat you, and how seriously they take their job. Gut instincts are real.

  9. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  10. A: Computer, interface, mic, guitar, midi keyboard.

  11. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  12. A: Studied music from age 4 until university. I've been working as a freelance producer, engineer, and guitarist for 3 years.

  14. A: Modern Vision, Old School Soul.

  16. A: Juan Pablo Vega - he has such a unique sound and way of writing. I'd love to see how he works and learn from him.

  18. A: Almost every song can be dummied down to just the vocal and the groove. If you get those 2 sounding awesome, the rest will come very easily.

  19. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  20. A: A blend of R&B/Soul, Pop, and Rock with Alternative and Indie sounds.

  21. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  22. A: Understanding what an artists really wants from their song.

  24. A: Groove, harmonic richness, a transparent sound with lots of character, emotion, and vibe.

  25. Q: What's your typical work process?

  26. A: It all starts with your artistic vision and what you wanna say with your music. From there, we make a detailed pre-production plan to ensure we don't miss a thing. Then we work together on the production and bring your song to life. Finally, mixing and mastering is always a simple process and I'm sure you'll be happy with the first few versions.

  28. A: I work out of an acoustically treated home studio with a simple setup of high quality and reliable equipment.
