Blac Sheep Strings on SoundBetter

Whether it's arranging strings for a Young the Giant acoustic video, or composing single violin lines for an acoustic release, I make tracks stand out. Lush beds, an effected stab or a fiddle run or a single violin can be a beautiful addition to any track. Versed in multiple styles, I'll take your song to the next level.

Offering violin, voice and guitar services including string arranging, violin/fiddle and viola parts, electric and acoustic rhythm and solo guitar as well as background and top line vocals. I trained as a classical violinist at Preucil School of Music from 1986-2000 and then studied classical and contemporary voice, as well as violin at Luther College and then Berklee College of Music from 2000-2007. For the last four years I've played guitar and violin, as well as sung background vocals with a major label country act and toured extensively, performing in venues such as The Grand Ole Opry, Fenway Park, Alpine Valley, Shoreview Amphitheatre and Comerica Park. My specialization is mainly in blues, jazz and R&B influenced pop as well as folk and Americana.

Pleasure working with Blac! He had some very interesting ideas about my track, and was fast at recording and sending stems. Will definitely work with him again if I need strings.

Blac is a highly competent player of both violin and viola. He built a string section for me and used clear projection and emotive phrasing to inject life into my song. Absolutely solid work!
