Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: 1176 urei compressor,pultecs eq,Api console,fairchild compressor
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have 2 options to work depending on your budget.1- In The Box Mixing in my own studio. 2- Mix in studio with Vintage API Console with an incredible warm audio,you gonna love the audio that i can get with this console and all the outboard that complete a first class studio worldwide.I have the option to mix on an SSL 4000 and i choose between the API or SSL mixing room depending o the kind of music i have to mix.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly work mixing and producing music in my studio in buenos aires Argentina. I love to dive into a song and work until we fill the mix is finished and the artist is happy.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The Album "Fierrin" of El Kuelgue I was the mixing and mastering engineer on that project and i'm proud of this work because was a job that came to me at the last moment,when was all mixed except for one song.I mixed that song and the band loved the way i mixed an decided to ask me to mix all the other song from the album again.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: i'm working on this since 1986 and i worked at the best studios in buenos aires,argentina,(Panda)(Romaphonic)(El Pie Estudios)(Estudios ION) to mention a couple of studios that i worked on.Mad Hutter and Conway in Los Angeles and New River in Miami between others. During all this years since then i spend my time recording and mixing records and liveshows for hundreds of artist.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always make sure your sound source sounds good before listen through the mic, have a good sound before hit the red button.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'll bring your song to life with a clear mix.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: analog process on a combined environment with digital workstation
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: they are gonna be very happy with the results because thats my goal and i don't stop until a get it
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is to understand what your song need and what you expect from a mix,because i m a musician to.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Latin & Pop Music, Rock and Hard Rock music.Sometimes Reggae,I'm good making dubs and all Delay staff

A: i have a clear and punch sound
