I won the Curtis Mayfield Award through BMI and the Songwriter Hall of Fame, being recognized as the most promising up and coming songwriter. I trained under the top vocal producers and songwriters in the industry, Grammy-winners Bryan Michael Cox, Troy Taylor, and Sean Garrett. I’ve written songs on Star on FOX and several other major placements.

I am a songwriter and vocal arranger and Producer with a unique ear for melody and lyrics. I specialize in urban and pop music, though I have made a lot of country and gospel music. I started out working under 4x Grammy-winning Producer Troy Taylor, and worked with artists such as Trey Songz, Dru Hill, Patti Labelle, DJ Khaled, Trevor Jackson, Wale all within my first year. I’ve spent the past year working with newly signed acts such as Ar’Mon and Trey at Warner, Natalie Orfilia at Epic, Ayanis at Atlantic, and BSmyth at RCA.

My early work got me nominated and confirmed for the Curtis Mayfield Award for the most promising up and coming songwriter, through BMI and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.

I’ve had the benefit of working with classic acts such as Johnny Gill from New Edition, Patti Labelle, Dru Hill, and Wanya from Boyz II Men, as well as new acts such as the ones aforementioned. My melodies and lyrical execution of unique and clever concepts has been the driving force behind my success, as well as the lush vocal production and arrangement I add to all of my applicable works.

As a vocalist, I also deliver strong demos and serve as a compelling topliner for any recording needs. My broad skillset lends itself well to any artist looking to establish a consistent sound, be it a classic or contemporary one. My diverse musical tastes help inform my creative process.
