Working with other musicians and engineers, I often feel like my songs aren’t *quite* being understood, and there’s always some sort of compromise. Brad and I have worked with a few bands together on multiple projects. I have always been impressed with Brads choices for tracking and mixing, and I have learned a great deal through his approach. Brad is one of the few engineer/producers in the region I've worked with whom I feel is fully invested in every creative endeavor he is associated with. He is very easy to work with, has a wonderful sense of humor and wit, and possesses a deep knowledge of how to use his beautifully curated studio to the benefit of everyone who works with him.

I've worked with a lot of engineers, and Brad is my all time favorite. He's got a great ear, tons of knowledge, but most importantly of all he just has the most amazing attitude. I've made the most absurd, pain in the butt requests to Brad, and even if it's at the end of a long day (or even week) of work, he never flinches. His commitment to the artist and the music is just incredible. That's why he's my go to engineer for every project that I work on.

"Engineer" is really too narrow of a term to describe Bradford--he's a person who considers taste from all angles of his life, from visual aesthetic to fashion to media, and of course, to music and sound. Brad is an incredible artist whose intuition I trust deeply and wholly, a trait that feels rare to stumble on in humans in general, let alone sound engineers. Our working together on an LP has led to a longstanding creative partnership that I value and leverage ALL the time, from just wanting general feedback to direct collaborations and everything in between. A lovely creative soul.

Brad at big nice is the only person other than myself that I will let anywhere near my music. His approach to recording really tends to the artist. He always has the utmost respect for you and your songs and I truly feel like he realizes how important they are to you. At big nice there is so much to explore you can truly get any sound you’ve ever wanted there. If you have an idea of something you want / a certain tone on guitar you can try out a vast amount of amps and guitars. Go there with your dream album in mind and brad will be there 100% of the way to help you execute it.

I have recorded at Big Nice on a few occasions and every time has exceeded expectations. It has everything you would ever need (and then some) - the intelligent, honest, and talented staff/producers, the wonderfully inviting and warm recording space, any/all instruments you could think of and access, and this is all next to the beautiful Blackstone River. This is THE SPOT to record and bring your songs to life. I 100% will be using Big Nice in the future and I recommend you do as well - you will not regret it.

Honestly, hard to imagine working on any future projects without Big Nice being involved - the array of gear is vast & the rooms are massive, to be sure, but most importantly there is a constant welcoming atmosphere from both the space & staff. You are really getting production if you book here, not just quality engineering! It’s easy to be addicted to a space this comfortable when it always feels like home.

Really enjoyed working here, overwhelming amount of choices. Would book here again, 10/10
