Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Moon Vision new album. Producer and mixer engineer, you can check couple of songs in my soundcloud, also one of them in my Sound Better profile. Hope you like it.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital mostly, because nowadays you can achieve a really accurate analog sound. It's all about your sensibility, not the gear that you use it.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I make your songs better.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Is always different and very creative. I could do it 24/7.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: My best Price. It depends on the style of music and the work that I'll spend on it.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The amount of hours that I need to get better skills.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What you want to achieve with this record? Tell me what inspires you.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen my tracks on Soundcloud and let's talk.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Ableton Live, Sennheiser headphones, Neumann mic, Apogee interface. Easy to use in a desert island, good results and easy to pack :).
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Last 5 years I've been mixing tracks and learning for myself. Also producing a lot of stock music and working in my own music project. Last year I decided to study so right now I'm graduated at London School of Sound with a degree of audio mixing and mastering.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Organic and warm, I love a little bit of dirty and authenticity in the tracks that I make.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: My dream is work with and unknown artist, mix their record and make a big success. From 0 to 100.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Saturation is the key of everything ;)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip-Hop and Electronica.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Communication and Good Vibes maker. I think that the relationship with the client is one of the most important things. Also I'm a musician, so it's really easy for me understand the artist side.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Creativity and originality. I love experiment, go one step forward, I love be unique and I try to create my signature kind of sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First of all listen the track, with a fresh ears. I try to understand what is the feeling that the artist wants to explain with that track and how I can help to achieve that. Second I spend a lot of time organising and cleaning the project. After all this process is when I start the mix.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mostly work in the box, with all well known professional plug-ins. I consider myself a new school mix engineer so I take benefit from the new technologies. Also, I have apogee hardware, analog synths, guitars and hardware effects. I usually mix and master tracks in a 5 inches monitor speakers and I constantly check my work on laptop speakers and headphones.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My favorite mixers on the business are Jaycen Joshua, Chad Blake, Dave Pensado and Tony Maserati. I'm feeling really inspired by artists like Kendrick Lamar, Bon Iver, Thom Yorke or James Blake.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly records that I love. Which includes all kind of electronic music, hip-hop, trap, lo-fi and derivates.
