Fran Barne on SoundBetter

Hi, my name is Fran. I'm a Music Producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I make music in English and Spanish, I have lot's of versatility with music genres. I love Rock, Pop, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and Dance music. My inspirations change with time, right now: Mac Miller, Erykah Badu, Queens of the Stone Age, John Mayer, FKJ.

Originally I started playing piano when I was 5, then as a teenager Guns and Roses changed everything to me and I started playing guitar inspired by Slash. Then I studied music production and that opened another new world to me. I became a music fan more than ever, I started listening and learning Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Dance, Pop and the studio became my lifestyle, every time I get inside the studio I'm happy. It gave me the learning experience that I needed to evolve with music, now I sing, play guitar, bass, piano, synth, drums, beats and I know how to work the console and the gear.

I'm a music fan and I hope I can work with you in this amazing experience of making music.

Thank you for reading,

Fran always delivers. I sent him a guitar track someone else did—which he improved and rerecorded. Also he provided acoustic guitar tracks for a new song I’m working on.

This time Fran provided acoustic guitar tracks for an upbeat, uplifting song. The outro he did with multiple guitars is well-done and adds a very nice touch to the song. The projects never take long, he knows what the song needs, and follows the instructions or suggestions I make.

Fran provided acoustic guitar tracks for two songs. He gave me more than I expected by providing stereo acoustic guitar tracks and additional acoustic guitar arrangements. He’s a very talented guitarist.

Fran played acoustic guitar, electric slide guitar, and mandolin very well on a song. It started differently, but ended up sounding much better in the end with a singer-songwriter type of feel. It has a warm, summery, and intimate vibe to it. I really like it.

Fran is an incredible musician, producer, and visionary. Wasn't sure at first if Fran was familiar with country music—since it wasn't posted on his profile. But when I asked him for help, he said it would be no problem at all. It was a magical process. I am very satisfied with the end result. Will definitely work with Fran again! Five stars as always!

Fran is a very talented, musical, & dedicated musician and producer. He knew exactly what I needed and even asked me for references or songs that I liked that he made and had posted online. Fran played every instrument on the track—including acoustic guitar, keyboard, electric guitar, bass, & drums, provided raw wav files, and is also a mixing and mastering engineer. Not sure why he doesn’t have many reviews here because he is very good at what he does & loves music. I will work with him again.
