Hello. I'm Ty. I've been an Hip Hop and electronic music producer since 2013. Mostly gaining experience by making custom tracks and a little mixing/mastering for independent artist.   1. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  2. A: Hobby, part time, full time. I've played different instruments since I was about 9 or 10. Started with the violin, then went to the piano. I tried to teach myself the guitar but i sucked. I started producing in 2013. I never thought music would be my job.

  3. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  4. A: Q: Collab bro? A: Lol, no

  5. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  6. A: Having creative freedom.

  7. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  8. A: I produced a track for somebody in my city. Less than week later they were performing it at a night club. It was the first time a track i produced was performed live.

  9. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  10. A: Licensing music for videos, tv, indie films, etc

  11. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  12. A: Digital. What are you, a boomer?

  13. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  14. A: Make sure you already have an idea in your mind. But be willing to make some changes to it.

  15. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  16. A: i would just bring Bear Grylls. Duh

  17. Q: How would you describe your style?

  18. A: minimal...

  19. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  20. A: Florence Welch and Ruby Friedman. They both have amazing voices.

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: TURN IT DOWN. When mixing a track, it should be mixed at a low volume. If it sounds good when its quite, it will sound amazing when its loud.

  23. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  24. A: Hip hop / Rap

  25. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  26. A: I have experience with many different genres from hip hop to cinematic trailer music. It allows me to mold a track exactly to your liking.

  27. Q: What's your typical work process?

  28. A: Asking an artist a few questions such as, what is your plan for this track, is this track going to be a debut track, and is there a specific emotion or feeling that you want to portray.

  30. A: One main pc for beat making and mixing at home. Another laptop for working on the go

  32. A: Scott Storch, Maaly Raw, Motoi Sakuraba, Porter Robinson, Kanye West

  34. A: Custom beatmaking for independent artist. Mostly hip hop.
