I’m a highly educated musician and I have studied at various Conservatories and Colleges for a total of 24 years. I have put approximate number years of experience as a band member, pianist/ keyboardist. I’m passionate for music and have an extraordinary sense of what constitutes good music such as maintaining balance between a melody, harmony, orchestration, lyrics, dynamics and sonic transience. Throughout the years, I’ve accomplished many goals in my musical carrier as a piano teacher, performer, composer and music director; but my love for music doesn’t stop there: 18 years ago and after graduating with two Diplomas in classical piano and composition at “Glenn Gould Professional School of Music” in Toronto, Canada, I started becoming interested in music technology and studio mixing engineering. So, gradually I started getting deeper into music production. As I was developing my Recording and Mixing-Mastering skills on my own projects at first; I started getting noticed by various songwriters, producers, singers etc... I was twice a first prize winner at the HON National Competitions of Composition, and three times winner at the Songwriting contest in Texas US. I have collaborated with an Australian Record Label as a songwriter, arranger and mixing engineer. Upon my return to Toronto, Canada in 2013, I started writing music for theatrical plays IRIDA ART GROUP.

Interview with Studio MK72 MIXING & MASTERING
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Using Apolo Interface and UAD Safelight along iMac & Macbook pro. Mixing through the Steinberg Cubase Pro 9.5 using exclusively UAD high-end simulation classic plug-ins (Preamps, Compressors, Stip- channels and Saturation plug-ins, Mastering Limiters, Precision and Fairchild Compressor. I use Presonus Scepters S8 Monitors and another two sets of speakers for references. My keyboard rig include the Clavia Rord Stage to record Pianos, Synths and Hammond. I use a Korg PA800 Arranger keyboard for great samples sounds and much more. Also I use midi keyboard through another interface and laptop to perform midi sounds from a huge VST keyboard library and record it directly to my DAW as audio sound by passing first the signal through hardware parametric EQ, a Preamp finally Saturations. I'm using UAD Tape Real 2 Real simulations and other vintage plug-ins to achieve analogue warmth and/or vintage sound.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I feel that Warrent Huart (multi-platinum producer) has guiden me in so many ways of producing and mixing music like a pro.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually get asked to compose and arrange original or cover songs. Recording keyboard & piano tracks at my studio (on top of their instrumental tracking) and deliver them on their own prefared format and place them in their mix. Also asking me to Mix and Master or just mix or master their song(s).
