Producing Big ol' Pop
Music that Makes You Pants, I mean..... Dance.
Hello! My name is James, I am a producer and engineer who specializes in pop music! I like to work with artists and help take their song and make what they hear in their head a reality.
I work out of a church turned studio on the Eastside of Cincinnati called Thundertone Studio. The studio is a great community of creative people working on a variety of music from Bootsy Collins to Walk The Moon, and is well equipped with tons of rooms, lots of guitars, a piano, a great stage to perform on, and plenty of stained glass and old school inspiration.
I have found it especially important that I develop great relationships with all of my Artsit's so we can communicate effectively about the goals of the music, and ultimately serve the music in the best light, so please don't hesitate to send me a message about your next project so we can figure out if we would be a good fit together!
A little James History!
I started It.Me.Music in 2016 and have a degree in Commercial Music Production from the University of Cincinnati. Musically my background comes from the 3 years I spent working on a Jazz Studies degree and "gigging" around the greater Cincinnati area.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

A: Always be open to new and different experiences, and never stop learning.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like the artists to bring a couple of different songs to the studio and have them play them for me so we can both choose the song that we are excited about and just get to work as soon as we get an idea going! I always find that I work better with artists when Ive had the chance to get to know them and what they want in their music first, so the first song serves as a way for us to get to know each other and learn how well we will work together!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It.Me.Music works out of Thundertone Studio on the east side of Cincinnati. My room in particular, "Grandmas House" is a comfy production room really focused around developing the song! Thundertone Studio is a multi-room facility inside of an old church and features a large live room and several booths, multiple full Pro Tools HD rigs, a grand piano, a sea of custom guitars and amps, drum kits, and all of the ammenties you need to make your next record.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Working with artists to produce their music and get whats in their head out and manifested in the real world.
