I began playing drums in various college bands aged 16 before picking up the guitar,,I joined my first band as a guitarist in 1994 and performed in bars and clubs around the Leicester area.,In the early 2000's I moved to London and was signed to Concept Music, a subsidiary label to Universal Music. Our management company was Prestige Management, directed by Richard Rashman who also managed Busted & McFly.,I Co wrote and recorded the bands (Johnny Panic) debut album 'The Violent Dazzling' available on Itunes & Spotify and record stores.,,Upon leaving the group i relocated back to the midlands and formed the group 'SugaBeat' with vocalist Sarah Bird. SugaBeats Music can also be found on Itunes and Spotify,,I also worked with Calder Mclauglin on his acoustic album 'Chapeters And Phases' and the single 'Never Change'.,During this time I recorded and released two solo records 'Chronicles Of Anyone' and 'Nothing Specific' both again, available on Itunes, Spotify and BandCamp https://bennhartmann1.bandcamp....
