DANSHA on SoundBetter

• Record Music Producer • Mixer & Remixer • For 10+ years, I have been honing my craft, aiming to unfold the potential of each artist I work with; balancing my creative visions with an extensive knowledge of the recording studio and the most advanced sound and music production tools.

I'm an Israeli born, Music Record Producer/Engineer with over 10+ years of experience in the audio recording and production industry.

The passion for creating computer-based music was always there- since my childhood. My career was hugely evolved once I've established the acclaimed 'Poopik Studio' in Tel-Aviv back in 2009, where along collaborating with developed artists I also got to work with top Israeli acts.

As a producer, engineer, studio owner, but above all - as an artist, I've been accompanying recording artists of diverse genres, from the early song-writing stages till releasing a mastered and well crafted track.

Today based in San Francisco, I'm working with musician-artists from all over the world, also offering remote mixing and sound design sessions.

If you are wishing to explore and improve your sound, If you are looking for a solid producer and mixer, I am your guy! Whether your project calls for transparency or you're looking for a complete re-shaping of your sound, working with a sensitive and dedicated person, I would be honored to be entrusted with your music.

Would love to hear you!

Interview with DANSHA

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: Aiming to evolve my career to an international level, I'm currently producing top notch KPop songs, future to be pitched for artists in the desirable and challenging Korean music industry. If you want to collaborate on this, please reach out. I'm looking for Korean singer-songwriters to collaborate with. ///// 'Matityahu' - 'More Than Your Silence'. An EDM project about to be released on July 2016 in France. ///// DogTv - composing music tracks for the popular Tv Channel

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: That it is and it has always been my job.

  5. Q: How would you describe your style?

  6. A: Pop, electronic, indie, eclectic.

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Be honest, be yourself, take advantage of today's evolving market, understand it rather than complain about it. It's not going to change back to how it was. Be innovative in your way of thinking. Be futuristic. Don't forget that we're dealing here with art - and art reflects the state of mind of the culture in the present.

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

  10. A: First, I'd like to hear a rough demo of the song I'm about to work on. Also, I'd love to get to know the person I work with, their goals, their inspiration and aspirations, and in which stage in their career they are at the moment. After getting all the materials, I examine the source quality and start crafting a demo. Once reviewed by the artist and I get a green light - I start with the magic.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: DAW: Logic Pro X, Protools 12 Monitors: Genelec 8040, Yamaha NS10 Plugins: UAD, Waves Outboard: Manley Variable Mu, Culture Vulture Synths: Dave Smith's Evolver, Korg MicroKorg

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: • Mixing Production & Mastering Services. • Accompanying recording artists, singer songwriters and EDM producers along the process of creating till publishing a song/track. • Sound design for video projects • Music production and composing services • Vocal editing/comping • Drums editing/comping • Audio Production services

  15. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  16. A: I am most creative when I collaborate with singer-songwriters in the realm of electronic music, or EDM producers, though anyone who seeks an electronic style with a sense of pop for their tracks would find me as a dedicated partner to their creation.

  17. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  18. A: Vocal editing is probably one of my strongest skills. Also, I love to play with the arrangement while mixing/producing, finding the hidden gems within a song and make them stand out. When it works, the artist is surprised and get another new perspective on his creation.

  19. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  20. A: For me, Mix Production means more than adjusting levels and make everything sound clear, loud and right. Artistically, it means designing the sound signature of the artist I work with. The same as an artist needs a good branding to stand out in today's evolving industry, their creative ideas which turned into songs or tracks need a good sound mark. That's what I aim to achieve while mixing and producing.
