A native New Yorker, his involvement in music began at a very young age and has lead him to be able to work with everyone from local artists to "major label" clients (The Roots, Lil B, Divine Council, Ron Suno, Mark Wood [Trans-Siberian Orchestra], Sammy Adams, Kevin George...) Aaron uses the cliche of being a "musical Swiss Army knife" because honestly it best describes his day-to-day: He helps people get whatever they need, from what's "inside their head" to the final sound. Whether that's taking a song from voice memo to release ready production, putting the final touches on a mix, comping/tuning/editing vocals to perfection, mastering a record, or providing additional production and instrumentation, Aaron can get you there.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your vision for the project, what are your influences/references, what can I bring to the table to help you get where you want to be?
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: There really is no common type of work, and that's what I love about it. One day it could be tracking a bass part for a reggae collaboration, or building a beat from scratch with a new client for their upcoming album, or co-writing with a singer-songwriter, or mixing a short film, where ever I can bring my creative vision to a project is where you'll find me...
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been involved in music nearly all my life, but particularly in recording, producing, and writing for the last 15 years. I went to Ithaca College where I studied Audio Production and Jazz Studies, and have been a full-time freelancer for the last 7 years.
Q: Analog or digital and why?

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I'm not happy, unless you're happy. Whatever the project and whatever capacity I'm collaborating with my client in, I'm ultimately here to make sure that your vision and your art is communicated in the best way possible and however I can serve it best is what I'm here to do.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Getting to work on something new and different every day, and helping people take their idea from something that lives in their head and turning it into something tangible... er... audible...
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Honestly, it's usually to remind yourself that "less is more" most often. Figure out what the "hero" is in whatever you're working on and do what you can to let that shine.
