Brent Beachtel

Mixing Engineer and Guitarist

Brent Beachtel on SoundBetter

Producer, Mixing Engineer, and Session Guitarist working with a handful of major Americana, Pop, and Country artists in the Nashville music scene.

I'm a Nashville-based mix engineer and guitarist working with artists to grow and define their sound. I have 15 years of guitar experience, and writing featured on a handful of major albums recorded in Nashville that span genres from Pop to Americana and Country.

I began engineering 5 years ago out of a desire to bring back authentic, genuine artistry in music. Currently I am based at Tiny Tape Room in East Nashville; a quaint studio with a huge sound. Tiny Tape Room boasts an impressive amount of vintage gear with the centerpiece being a 24 channel Trident Console. My appreciation for the tried and true analog workflow is evident in both my mixes and production style.

My goal for everything I do is to mix, produce, and play what perfectly conveys the emotion that the artist is trying to display in the performance. This is what has, and always will make music authentic and successful.
