My name is Quen. I have been writing songs since I was 12. I love music. I am currently pursuing success in my own music career but have always wanted to write for someone else. To see my words used differently than I might have. I have been very lucky and pretty successful so far on my musical journey.I am registered through ASCAP/BMI.   1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I created a Intergalactic Space Alien hip hop album once.

  10. A: I love music. All types. Different sounds and words and meanings and stories. It's a universal language.

  14. A: that I only listen to hip-hop music.

  16. A: usually its about how they feel about the song/project.

  18. A: Expect the best I can possibly provide.

  19. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  20. A: I have been writing for 20 years. I started taking music more seriously about 7 years ago.

  22. A: different

  23. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  24. A: Wyclef Jean because he one of the best producers ever.

  25. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  26. A: chew gum before you record vocals. (not during recording) it's makes it easier to say complex stuff..

  27. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  28. A: Hip-hop but I have also worked on some r&b/pop songs..

  29. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  30. A: I'm thoughtful. I think a lot.

  32. A: words. I'm pretty good at translating emotions and feelings to words. Delivery is something else I feel like i'm pretty good at.

  34. A: If i'm really feeling an idea or concept the song will pretty much write itself. Otherwise its a struggle and sounds forced. I will only work on a project or song if I really feel it.

  36. A: we use different set-ups depending on what we are recording for.
