Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My 99 taylor acoustic, vintage strat and bassman amp, a broken-in Steinway, and a comfy seat.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always take notes, whether it be written on paper or computer, or you capture audio via a recording app on your phone. These sparks won't all be gold, but it's worth having them catalogued.

A: Tracks that require multiple layers of guitar
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Guitar playing
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Instrumentation that can borrow from a variety of my musical history: I grew up playing trumpet in orchestral and jazz settings; acoustic and electric guitar in rock, blues, pop, and fingerstyle genres; pop and church piano tunes; drums for pop and rock.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen to the tune several times and take notes. Listen with an acoustic in hand or at piano to create ideas. Record parts.

A: Multi-talented musicians: Matt Bellamy, bruno mars, Justin Timberlake.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Adding guitar parts to a skeleton of a song. Occasionally asked to assist in arrangement of song structure and overall instrumentation
