I've spent my career as an engineer in a number of studios in NYC and working in close partnership with a variety of artists. I understand how to adapt myself to every artist's needs and help them find what inspires them.
As a recording and mixing engineer, I draw on a breadth of influences. A Los Angeles native, I began as a classically-trained violinist, and after college, trained in some of the best indie and jazz recording studios in New York City.
I've had the great fortune to work with engineers at those studios such as Patrick Dillet (Mary J Blige, Sufjan Stevens, St. Vincent) and Nic Hard (Snarky Puppy, Becca Stevens). Their influences taught me a creative curiosity and flexibility across genres, helping me best serve all of my clients and collaborators.
