Working with Jamie was great! He's an incredibly talented guitarist, and is totally understanding of any critique you throw his way. My biggest requirement when collaborating with another musician is a good creative energy, and Jamie has that. Guaranteed satisfaction, and good communication to boot. I can't recommend him enough. :)

Jamie and his team at m2 pro audio were exceptional. Their professional work ethic and determination coupled with their easy going, down to earth personalities was a perfect fit for me. They communicated with me every step of the way and had an extensive knowledge of not just production but music and songwriting which helped so much. Awesome!

  6. A: Unfortunately not, although there are a few around that have excellent reviews!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both have excellent positives and in this day and age I don't think it's a matter of analog and digital it's a question of what will give me the sound I'm looking for

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I will do my best to give you the end product you want

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: When someone loves the job I've done and it'd exactly what they wanted

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Why is wav files so important? My answer is because as a wav file, the full sonic spectrum of the music is in tact, giving you a fuller music experience and a more crisp sound. Little nuances can be heard and shine a lot more

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: The idea that mastering is just to make tracks loud

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What are the 5 artists /albums you would have in a 5cd changer and why? What elements about them do you like.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Ask questions, know what is going on with your music, get involved as much as possible because the more background you give me the better I can create your vision

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Computer, Interface Keyboard Electric guitar Microphone

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Normally a mix of acoustic, rnb, hip hop, folk, electronica, edm, but

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring a sense of ownership and pride, knowing that it's not just mixing a song, this is my work, my mark on someone else's dream, so I take pride in the end result whether it's $50 for the mix or $800 for the mix. You've asked me to work on something that you have created through you blood sweat and tears, and I don't take that responsibility lightly

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: first I like to find out the style the client is going for, seeing their influences and sounds and production styles from other artists/ producers that they like, then I proceed with keeping the reference in mind but never completely relying on that. Making a difference that will showcase what the artist wants to say after I have a main mix, I'll send that to the client to ensure I'm on the right track, and to see if there is anything major that they want changed. After that I start to tweak things and make the mix as perfect as I can get it. Sending the final mix to the client, then mastering after the go ahead is given, then hand it over

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
