Benjamin Wright is a composer and studio musician for the Peabody and Emmy Award winning television series Louie (Louis CK), as well as composer for film, performer, and music teacher in Brooklyn, NY.
As an electric and acoustic bassist he has performed and recorded with many artists including Louis C.K., SweetPro, Wu Li, Dance Fight, Reggie Watts, Live and Breathe, Jupiter One, III Kings, San Jacinto, John Shannon, Lee Fields, Tam Lin, Nick Thune, Pyeng Threadgill, Hatty Gossett, G Koop and O Man, Brother Ali, Gift of Gab, and Fiber. He currently performs in the NY area playing his original compositions with Wu Li, as well as the electro/rock trio Dance Fight.
Benjamin’s compositions and bass playing can be heard on the multiple Emmy award winning television series “Louie” starring comedian Louis C.K., as well as the feature film Knucklehead (dir. Ben Bowman, 2015), the short film Lethe (dir. Leo Claussen, 2014) and the feature film The Cursed Ones (dir. Nana Obiri Yeboah, 2015). His work with Jupiter One appears in popular video game titles from EA Sports as well as television and radio advertisements.
