Lake Malvik is a new residential high-spec writing and recording facility located in the village of Runemo in idyllic Northern Sweden. Nestled in the tranquil pine forests, the studio has been built in a large detached farm house featuring three luxurious guest bedrooms that provide the accommodation for Malvik's visitors.

Lake Malvik is located the small village of Runemo (with its grand population of 263) in the Gavleborg region of Northern Sweden. Built on a large forested plot, the studio's tranquil surroundings are guaranteed to make working here extremely inspiring, creating the perfect environment to get those creative juices flowing.

The large control room benefits greatly from natural light and the live room's spec boasts a huge range of guitars, effects, amplifiers and keyboards. Along with the traditional live/control recording spaces, Malvik also has the advantage of some more unusual spaces such as a converted stone walled cellar that sounds stunning on those big guitars tones, or if you need a natural echo chamber. Our "secret" booth is also a superb space for those intimate takes.
