Hello, My name is Mark. I have a production company call Vital Dreams Music Group. I started mixing for up and coming acts in NYC like Sya from the Sister Hood of Hip Hop. I've done radio commercials, Mixtapes, theme songs, Albums, Singles.

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Both. Digital makes it a lot easier and cheaper to make, mix and master music if you do not have the funds to rent a full studio, but Analog give you the warm, vintage sound that digital cannot reproduce.

  4. A: The wide verity of talent I get introduce too.

  6. A: Customer: Can you make it sound good? Me: I can give you a rough mix. Tell me if you think it sounds good.

  8. A: People think all i do is press one button.

  10. A: What are your visions? What would you like to accomplish? What direction are you planning to with this song or project?

  11. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  12. A: It depends on what needs to be done.

  13. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  16. A: I have been doing this for 15 years.

  18. A: My style is unique. Being a producer I like to make subtle tweaks and drops to make your material sound the best it can.

  20. A: I don't really have a preference.

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: Yes. One mistake I see a lot of people do is recording too hot. In the mixing world, it can be difficult to mix and almost eliminate the distortion that comes from it.

  24. A: Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Pop.

  26. A: Mixing and mastering, Composing and producing. Also Consulting.

  28. A: What I bring to a song is to make is sound as clean, warm, and professional that I can

  29. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  30. A: I have UA Apollo Twin as my interface. I do all of my mixing and Mastering in Pro Tools. I do all of my composing and producing in Logic Pro X, Propellerhead Reason, and Maschine.

  34. A: The common work I do is Mixing and Mastering, Producing. I'll do whatever my clients ask me to do.
