  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am mixing and mastering a few songs by Astral Jones, who is a hip/hop and electronic producer with a similar style to flying lotus. As well as mixing a song by Young Reeph.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Digital, more control, faster. Much, Much, MUCH faster.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: I promise a very noticeable increase in quality, depth, and over all appeal of your song or project. Results will speak for themselves and have you coming back for more!

  10. A: Being able to immerse myself fully in a song, or project. And getting to listen to music all day.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: stereo widening. Reverb on vocals. thickening of vocals. Cleaner, louder bass. And I say, You've got it!

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: The biggest misconception about what i do is that most people under estimate how large of a role the engineer plays in the development of an artist's sound.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: Do you want me to add any special effects, or are we simply going for clarity.

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Stay focused on the task at hand, and stick to fixing one or few problems at a time, rather then trying to fix the whole mix at once. Multitasking is not more efficient.

  36. A: First I play through the song multiple times and take notes on any aspects I want to change. I then boost appealing frequencies, increase clarity with compression, and begin widening the the stereo field. Afterwards I guarantee you will notice a huge difference in the audio quality, clarity, and over-all appeal of your track/tracks.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I Have Krk Rockit 8's aligned perfectly with acoustic treatment placed accordingly throughout the room for an environment with no false reverberation or frequency build up.
