Underdog Audio Engineer & Music Producer
Nicolas Mendoza's musical and engineering career has spanned over 6 years and two continents. Beginning as a young bass player in the Colombian music industry set the stage for the start of a very successful career. His musical interests led him to completing a Diploma of Music Technology at EMMAT, Bogota, Colombia, where he developed his theoretical and production skills. His passion and knowledge of both Latin and Western music have enabled him to break musical boundaries and set a precedent for a new generation of musicians and producers.
After working in Bogota's leading independent music studio, White Lemon Recording Studios; his career then took him over to Australia. Nicolas then completed a Bachelor of Audio Engineering & Music Production at JMC Academy, Melbourne. His versatility and passion for music saw him jump the ranks quickly in the Australian live sound industry to management and lead engineering roles.
He currently works in multiple recording studios in Sydney, Australia, including the world-renowned Studios 301. His experience and ambition has allowed him to establish himself as an engineer/producer and collaborate easily in any studio to help bring artists ideas to life.
