Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise to my clients is to give them quality, from the first email exchange to the finished tracks and beyond. My work ethic and passion compel me to provide the best quality service.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm a good musician but I think an even stronger engineer. Mixing all of the elements of a song into a cohesive and, more importantly, an expressive whole takes the skill of songwriting to an even more complex level because you have to know what to do to make the tracks sound as good or better than they sound in your head.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: What I bring to a song is a keen melodic and harmonic sense. When you're writing - whether a guitar or piano part or top-line - you have to be a participant and a spectator. You have to be aware of how the song feels or WHAT it makes you feel and at the same time far enough away from it to judge whether the arrangement or melodic parts work. I've practiced that art over 15 -20 years of writing and feel like it's a value to those I write with.
