i create EDM music for my personal project, beside that, i also create music for film and also work as boom operator and sound mixer for an Indonesian Youtube channel called Inilo Production, with my team, we create short movie that inspire people with positive messages.

my background is a metal guitarist, but after i know DAW i become interested in making EDM music and movie scoring, i specialized in creating EDM in trap, and progressive genre, i also specialized as session guitar player in pop rock genre. I work in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia, so working with me should be processed through email and my working hour is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time

  1. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  2. A: EDM and movie scoring

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Gold in = Gold out, you cannot polish something that sounds bad become great in the mixing process, if the raw recording is D grade in can be only upgraded to C grade, it won't come to an A grade in the mixing process

  5. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  6. A: my last personal EDM project, i create everything including the lyrics, its very special for me because i never thought i can create something like that.

  7. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  8. A: my personal EDM project and movie scoring for Inilo Production

  9. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  10. A: not yet, im new to SoundBetter

  11. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  12. A: Analog, because nothing beats analog, the quality of the sound, the "real" feel of the sound, although i work in digital software, my train myself to be able to create music that sounds analog.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: why is your price so expensive? because im not playing with my job as a musician, i have to make a living out of it, and my result have to be great, not just good, but great.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: i'm not a DJ, but i can create original EDM song, and i actually would like to learn how to DJ

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: are you okay with my time? price can change significantly depends on the difficulty of the project

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: be ready to work with me through email / social media, and i don't tolerate bad input, the input / raw should be in good quality, and if you're a singer i also don't tolerate out of note

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: as a musician, Laptop, Midi controller, acoustic guitar, soundcard, and headset, including all the cables i needed

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: i've been doing this for about 2 years, since i knew about DAW, but i've been playing guitar for 8 years. i learned guitar from Avenged Sevenfold, Dream Theater, then the last band that influenced me a lot is Periphery

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: my color of music is happy, fun, and blue, so in some of my songs there might be an element of happy/fun and sad at the same time.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: definitely Avicii, because i think he create more than EDM, there's always a feel of a real music in the song he made, not only electronic instruments, and his lyrics are always poetic in a unique artistic way

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: as a producer i create EDM and Film music as a guitarist i play pop-rock and Djent

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: playing acoustic guitar (Depapepe alike) and electric guitar (pop-rock and Djent like Periphery)

  34. A: the lyric, the feel of the song, and the melody

  36. A: i create one song approximately in one month, from nothing to finished, depends on my schedule and the vocalist schedule

  38. A: i work in a bedroom studio with a midi controller and flat speaker monitor
