  1. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  2. A: Ali Bangay - great singer for lead and backing vocals.

  3. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  4. A: I started young in bands playing keyboards and singing, then went to university to study music and sound recording. Since then I have worked in a large orchestral recording studio for 15 years, creating soundtracks for film, tv and recording backing tracks for pop songs. I started composing/arranging 10 years ago for music production companies.

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: Don't be afraid to take something away from a mix.

  7. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  8. A: I have a small writing room, and access to a larger orchestral studio with a grand piano.

  9. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  10. A: All the session musicians that visit the studio, and the arrangers we work with (Cliff Masterson, Simon Hale)

  12. A: Compose backing arrangements (strings, brass, choir) for pop/rock songs
