Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I'v not done any project so far, But I'm currently executive producing my artist's album. Which will drop soon in the near future.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Am currently working on my Record Label and an artist i recently signed to my Label.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Non so far.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both. because they both serve different needs in my workflow.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: An Excellent and Exceptional piece of work

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: It lets me to simply be myself. Its my passion and lets me to connect with different types of people with the same passion as i have all over the world.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Can i make them sound better in their music and take them to the next level in their craft? My answer is typically: "Yes! i can, but they need to be committed and play their parts as well in the music production"

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That being a music producer/ mix engineer/ mastering engineer is easy to do and is not a lucrative career path.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I ask them what style of music they like for the creation of their song, who's their favorite artist, what's their favorite song and what song they want me to use as a reference for me to use in making their song for them.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: To be committed, honest, passionate and professional.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: An LA-2A compressor, Dangerous D-Box, Elysia Alpha compressor, A Pair Of FootPrint Monitors, & A 32 channel Neve Genesys analog console,

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I went to a music school (Point blank music academy) in the U.k around '08 to learn music production. Ever since then, iv been at it for the past 9 years now and counting! lol.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Emotional and Enlightening. My style of music connects to the soul and gives a deep meaning of what the song is all about.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Timbaland. Because he was an inspiration to me when i first started my career as a music producer.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Always trim down the gains on individual tracks before mixing. And most importantly, balance your final mix before printing it, so that it can be as cohesive as possible mastering stage.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Hip Hop/ Trap and R'nB

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Song composition and arrangement, mixing and mastering.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Good Emotions and Vibes. Something that gives the listener a beautiful experience and meaning to the song.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: After composing and arranging my song in FL Studio software, I set up my Pro Tools session and import the tracks from FL Studio into Pro Tools. Before mixing, I typically trim down at least 10 dbs of gain reduction of each track in order to have some headrooms to mix the tracks. During the mixing stage, i use various plugins for mixing and an analog summing box to give the song a 3-D stereo image for the end user to have a better listening experience of the song. After mixing the song, I move on to the mastering stage, this is were i make the song to be of high-quality as much as possible and heightened the sound definition of the song so that it can translate perfectly in all playback systems.

A: Imac (27 inch), Krk 10s Monitors, Yamaha HS8 Monitors, Dangerous D-box, UAD Apollo interface, Neumann TLM 103 Condenser Mic.
